HARP2 Info

Home Affordable Refinance

The Home Affordable Refinance Program (HARP) is designed to assist homeowners in refinancing their mortgages – even if they owe more than the home’s current value.  The primary expectation for Home Affordable Refinance is that refinancing will put responsible borrowers in a better position by reducing their monthly principal and interest payments, reducing their interest rate, reducing the amortization period, or moving them from a more risky loan structure (such as an interest-only mortgage or a short-term ARM) to a more stable product (such as a fixed-rate mortgage).

Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae have adopted changes to the Home Affordable Refinance Program (HARP) and you may be eligible to take advantage of these changes.

• If your mortgage is owned or guaranteed by either Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae, you may be eligible to refinance your mortgage under the enhanced and expanded provisions of HARP.
• You can determine whether your mortgage is owned by either Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae by checking the following Web sites:

Fannie Mae Loan Lookup

Freddie Mac Loan Lookup

The tool indicates whether Fannie Mae is the investor on a property at a specific address, but does not determine refinance or loan modification eligibility for borrowers. In order to determine further eligibility you should contact us for details.

We do HARP 2.0 for Fannie Mae owned mortgages.
We do not originate HARP 2.0 for Freddie Mac owned mortgages at this time..

If your mortgage is owned by Fannie Mae and was originated prior to June 1, 2009, you may be eligible:
